Work Location:

This opportunity is on-site atThe Toro Company Corporate Headquarters, in Bloomington, MN.Candidates should prepare for 5-days on-site for the majority of the schedule.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

• Intern will work on a data analytics project to improve inventory management or global planning insights. This involves gathering large amounts of data, organizing it, and providing analysis to support the central materials team.

• Intern will create data visualizations in Power BI merging historical and current [future] ERP planning data. 

• May also explore RPA automation or perform introductory AI investigations in the projection and material planning space.

• Collaborate with a wide range of business functions including but not limited to Sourcing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure all stakeholder perspectives are represented in analysis.

• Partner with subject matter experts to test potential outcomes.

• Summarize and present complex data to leadership in an understandable format.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related field.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Adaptable and flexible – able handle ambiguity and manage priorities that may change.

• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability – takes ownership and demonstrates initiative.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ERP experience is a plus.
