Work Location:
This opportunity is on-site atThe Toro Company Corporate Headquarters, in Bloomington, MN.Candidates should prepare for 5-days on-site for the majority of the schedule.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Intern will work on a data analytics project to improve inventory management or global planning insights. This involves gathering large amounts of data, organizing it, and providing analysis to support the central materials team.
Intern will create data visualizations in Power BI merging historical and current [future] ERP planning data.
May also explore RPA automation or perform introductory AI investigations in the projection and material planning space.
Collaborate with a wide range of business functions including but not limited to Sourcing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure all stakeholder perspectives are represented in analysis.
Partner with subject matter experts to test potential outcomes.
Summarize and present complex data to leadership in an understandable format.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Adaptable and flexible – able handle ambiguity and manage priorities that may change.
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability – takes ownership and demonstrates initiative.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ERP experience is a plus.
