The Production Documentation Specialist II will help ensure that production employees have available documentation necessary to perform their duties. This role will be an assembly procedure writer to handle the writing of QC instructions for Onboarding training, Quality Assurance maintenance, CO updates, RD Pilot connections, other documents as needed.
Work Environment:
Hourly with benefits.Normal work hours are full time Monday through Friday, day shift, on-site.No weekends or overtime anticipated.
Full time on-site. Remote/Hybrid is not available for this opportunity.
Extensive use of the email, computer, and telephone communications.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Read, analyze, and interpret information from a variety of sources, including Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Bill of Materials (BOM), (Change Request Document (CRD), and other Ventrac System requirements etc.
Work with supervisors, leads, engineers and employees to determine what necessary document changes need to take place. Research, edit, and get proper approval of documents.Maintaining schedules and setting priorities. Interviewing other employees to obtain information; Accurate organization of all information.
Observing and participate with the manufacturing process ofVentrac equipment.
Using word processing programs to track and change documents. Preparing documents for printing and electronic publishing. Organize, communicate, maintain, and update computer files of product-related documents.
Maintain the location and description of all controlled parts page documentation for updating, retrieving and removal of use.
Maintain positive relationships with supervisors and co-workers.
Meet expectations for creativity, quality, productivity, technical knowledge, leadership, attention to detail, motivation of others, and safety.
Provide Support to the Daily Management Systems (DMS).
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Two + years of experience in a production, manufacturing or Assembly environment required;Ventrac assembly preferred.
Have a good work record, including indications of strong self-motivation, high productivity, reliable attendance, attention to quality, ability to learn new skills, and a cordial, cooperative personality. Have the ability to create and maintain positive relationships with supervisors and co-workers.
Demonstrate excellent writing skills.Experience writing work instructions in CAD and Solid Edge preferred.
Have appropriate word processing skills. Including research, organization, formatting, and editing.
Have a firm understanding of manufacturing and prototype builds.
