We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Perth. In this role, you will oversee the warehouse operations, ensuring the timely distribution of products in line with inventory control standards. You will also coordinate warehouse activities to guarantee the efficient and safe use of our storage facilities.

This hands-on role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently coordinate warehouse operations.

What will you do

  • Receiving orders and checking the quality and quantity against delivery notice or invoices.

  • Ensuring materials and items are efficiently conveyed from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.

  • Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets, or conveying orders to the packing location

  • Packaging and sending out completed orders to customers

  • Labeling products and materials with identifying information

  • Recommending improvements of warehouse practices to promote efficiency.

  • Planning and directing product distribution to ensure prompt delivery to customers.

  • Planning and directing of the warehouse receiving function

  • Planning of the assignment of work to ensure the efficient use of equipment and temporary labour.

  • Responsible for monthly reports.

  • Accepting and adhering to all WHSE responsibilities, policies, procedures and safe work practices related to the position.

  • Providing guidance to temporary labour when required.

  • Monitoring the performance and efficiencies of order management procedures.

What will you need

  • Experience in warehousing.

  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.

  • Experience with Warehouse Management (preferably SAP WM).

  • Sound keyboard and computing skills (Microsoft applications).

  • Understanding of WHSE principles and legislation.

  • A valid forklift license.

  • Ability to respond to continual changing of priorities.

  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently with minimum supervision.
