Summer Internship Program
12 weeks
Join a diverse and passionate community by interning with us. Through hands-on learning and collaboration with some of the brightest minds in the industry, our interns gain lifelong skills. Plus, you’ll grow professionally with your peers as you work together on developing innovative solutions.
Program Overview
Our 12-week Summer Internship Program provides you with the opportunity to gain hands-on, degree-focused experience while having the opportunity to network with employees across the business, participate in events and volunteer activities, hear from business leaders and showcase your work at the end of the summer.

An Engineering internship puts you at the forefront of innovation. Through our products and services, we aim to solve customer problems by increasing productivity and efficiency, and implementing new technologies in alternative power and autonomous. As an intern, you’ll work on real projects, team up with seasoned engineers and get a taste of the diverse world of engineering. This is your chance to put your knowledge into practice, build technical skills and be a part of innovative projects that drive our customer and environmental needs. Typical internships we hire for are Robotics, Test Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering.
As a key team member in the Operations and Supply Chain organization, having a continuous improvement mindset is a must. As an intern, you’ll use your knowledge and skills to actively contribute to real-world projects by enhancing operational efficiency and finding ways to minimize value chain disruptions across the business. This immersive opportunity not only deepens your understanding of supply chain dynamics, but also equips you with practical skills essential for a successful career in this field.
As an IT intern, you will be part of a team whose goal is to provide stable, reliable and valuable information services that support business processes, manage and protect information, and increase overall employee productivity. During this internship, you will leverage technology to deliver helpful insights, create new opportunities through technology and use your skills and knowledge to assess the latest trends in the ever-changing and complex world that is IT.
We are always collecting data, but the question is what to do with it. As a Data Analytics intern, you will play a pivotal role in collecting raw data and transforming it into meaningful, actionable insights to be used to help solve specific problems and challenges facing the organization. This internship will sharpen your data analytics abilities and propel you to the forefront of this dynamic and rapidly evolving field.
In our Accounting & Finance internships, you’ll play a crucial role in financial processes and decision-making. As an intern, you’ll be contributing to real financial projects, and gaining exposure in many different areas including budgeting, internal/external financial reporting, reconciliation, GAAP accounting and others. This internship is your chance to refine your financial skills, understand the intricacies of accounting and make a meaningful impact in a professional financial setting.
In a Communications internship, you’ll get the chance to explore the diverse realm of communications. From public relations to social media marketing and internal communications, you’ll get the chance to immerse yourself in the creation of compelling narratives and engaging content. Our internship program offers you the opportunity to shape your communication abilities, work on impactful projects and gain valuable insights into the different facets of communications.
As a Marketing intern, we want you to think big, be creative and bring your ideas to life, finding innovative ways to help grow and protect our global portfolio of brands while learning about what makes each brand unique. You’ll work closely with marketing teams to refine your skills, contribute to marketing strategies and make a tangible impact on real-world projects. Hiring Process
Applications for The Toro Company Internship Program open in the fall prior to the start of the program. We'll begin recruiting in September for our Internship Program and continue until March if positions are still available.

You can find our internships on Handshake, job boards and our career site. You must submit your application through The Toro Company’s website.
Interview
After submitting your application, it will be reviewed by the hiring team and interviews will be set after that. While there is not a set timeline for follow-up after submission, the hiring team works to have a quick turnaround process.
Final Decision
Following your interview, the hiring team will reconvene, and you will be contacted regarding their decision. We do not have a set timeline, but we will work to have a quick turnaround.
Co-op Programs
2 SEMESTERS
Throughout the year, we offer co-op positions, primarily in engineering. You’ll be placed within different teams to gain unparalleled hands-on learning experiences and will be exposed to various engineering functions to take your career to the next level.
