Material Handler at The Toro Company:

This employee performs mechanical work building machinery using various hand and power tools (wrenches, hammers, impact tools, etc.). This includes working with mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems on machinery. The employee also performs other duties as assigned.

What Will You Do? 

  • To unload inbound freight from production plants into the DC scanning materials into our inventory locations.  

  • Load outbound truckloads for freight to dealers and distributors.  

  • Pick and load LTL freight scanning materials into deliveries while creating pack slips and BOL’s.  

  • Scan all product moved with handheld RF scanners. 

  • Perform Safety tasks as assigned by their leaders. 

  • Clean up a designated aisle or work area on a daily/weekly basis. 

  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by designated supervisors.  

What Do You Need: 

  • Experience driving a sit down forklift,  experience loading or unloading trailers. 

  • Must be able to work effectively with peers in a team atmosphere.  

  • Basic RF Handheld experience is a plus 

  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.  

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a handheld scanner and drive a lift truck. 

  • High school Grad or GED equivalent.
