Pay: $15.11, 6 months $16.88, 12 months $18.65 and 18 months $20.43
What Will You Do?
As an Assembler you will be performing manual labor in a production line; and assembling parts for Mower Assembly line.
- Basic to complex assembly, placing parts on Mower to progress down an assembly line.
- Requires the use of hand tools, wrenches, and impacts, etc.
- Picks up, moves and sorts small parts.
- Unpacks parts from cardboard boxes as required.
- May operate forklift and/or heavy equipment or machinery in assigned area if certified.
- Employee will be expected to work at fast pace to meet production quota while ensuring Safety and Quality.
- Reports Safety incidents or property damage to Supervisor immediately.
- Report any defective material or questionable condition to production department supervisor.
- Maintain the manufacturing work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner utilizing Lean and 5S principles.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Assembly and/or general manufacturing experience is preferred.
- There are multiple individual jobs covered by this job description with varying physical requirements. May be required to lift or carry materials of various weights and sizes.
- Ability to perform frequent bending and reaching.
- Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift.
- Must be friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; work well under pressure; able to manage multiple projects.
