The Painter will be responsible for Powder coat a wide range of metal products to a good standard.

Shift - 1st Shift

Pay: $16.65, 6 months $18.47, 12 months $20.30, 18 months $22.11

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

• Identifying, picking and returning of powder boxes correctly according to a work schedule.
• Electrostatic powder coating of products in a spray booth or on a conveyor line according to specification.
• Demonstrating good ability to spray a Powder to the correct thickness range.
• Having the versatility to spray to a good standard a range of products from aluminum extrusions, large flat surfaces, awkward profiles and overcoat rejected powder coated parts.
• Clean down of electrostatic spray guns and spray booths correctly.
• Maintenance of the spray gun parts and booths according to instruction.
• Additional Duties and Responsibilities
• Jigging up and preparation of products prior to powder coating.
• Using industrial powder coating ovens to cure powder coated products.
• Packing of completed powder coated products ready dispatch.
• General House Keeping –cleaning & keeping your work area tidy including basic maintenance of machines/tools.
• Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed and to maintain all quality systems in order to meet your production targets.
• Follow the company standard operating procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be clean shaven and be able to pass a respiratory fit test.
