What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for:
Operates/adjusts the manual and automatic powder coat equipment to meet company paint and quality specifications.
Installs, maintains and repairs the equipment/system following specific codes, manuals, diagrams, blueprints, etc., using hand tools, power tools, electrical and electronic test equipment (i.e. amp meter).
Replaces faulty components such as relays, switches, motors and sensing devices using hand tools; diagnoses, repairs and replaces.
Develops a preventive maintenance service log and schedule for the powder coat equipment and system and maintains the equipment accordingly.
Adjusts thermostat to maintain specified temperature in wash tanks.
Inspects painted units for runs sags and unpainted areas.
Cleans paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, from disks, cones, spray heads and hoses.
Performs visual checks of quality of parts being hung.
Operates forklift and performs daily checks as required by OSHA regulations.
Loads and moves materials to work area.
Maintains proper chemical balance in tanks. Checks titration as required. Documents result for E.P.A. log.
Maintains individual P.P.E.
Completes necessary paperwork. Inventories paint and chemicals on a monthly basis.
Develops racks for maximum benefit.
Performs periodic maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment, and other housekeeping as required
Continually strives to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
