2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Pay:

$21.55 plus $2.00 for shift differential = $24.55

What Will You Do?

Perform and complete duties and responsibilities on a variety of different types of outdoor power equipment. Responsibilities include: 

  •  Accurately inspecting in coming parts flagged for inspection by SAP Quality Program and making an accurate decision as to accepting or rejecting parts based on  fit, form, or function.
  • Maintaining accurate records and processes appropriate documentation.
  • Reviewing nonconforming product and processes appropriate documentation in order for ExmarkShipping Department to return product to suppliers.
  • May be called upon as a valuable resource to trouble shoot problems with purchased parts in production and make assessment of the situation.
  • Working closely with Engineering by recommending drawing changes if errors or variations arefound.
  • Assisting in finished product evaluation and feedback by conducting "Hot Test" audits on a periodic basis.
  • Working closely with purchasing to react to adverse part situations so vendors can be notified.
  • Working closely with Engineering for the inspection of prototype parts.
  • Must perform with a high degree of accuracy and exercises prudent judgement.
  • May be required to perform first piece inspection so vendors can start production runs if partsare acceptable.
  • Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved.
  • Able to work without supervision.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Must have high school diploma plus two years of technical training in Manufacturing Engineering, nondestructive testing or related fields. Equivalent experience may be considered. Must have comprehensive knowledge of inspection procedures, basic knowledge of common manufacturing processes, and must be able to read complex blueprints.

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from managers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
