What Will You Do?
A Summer Internship with The Toro Company will provide a real world work experience and an opportunity to develop skills while working under the supervision of an electrical engineer. The intern will work on individual project(s) as well as participate in group projects.
This position typically encompasses a large variation in the type of work performed from writing specifications and performing studies, testing and validation of electrical components and software, continuous improvement of existing products, component failure diagnostics and troubleshooting, among other responsibilities.
Other summer activities could include job shadowing, a vendor visit or trip to a Toro manufacturing plant, making harnesses with an electrical designer, and planned executive talks.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Candidates from other engineering disciplines may be considered based on relevant coursework or experience.
Candidates should have completed junior-level coursework and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrating good academic standing.
We’re looking for a motivated and collaborative individual who is eager to learn, contribute to team efforts, and communicate effectively
Candidates should be organized and proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word). Experience with engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, AutoCAD, DIAdem, or similar) is a plus.
Previous experience or internship is preferred.

Competitive Pay – anticipated pay $22.00-$33.00 per hour.
