The HR Manager at TTC, provides HR consulting and advice to individuals within The Toro Company’s technology team. Partners with leaders on talent initiatives including performance reviews, succession and talent planning, employee development, conflict management and change management. Works with other HR partners to develop people-related strategies in alignment with enterprise strategic priorities with a focus on attracting, developing and retaining a high-performing and inclusive team.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
- Communicate and lead people processes for assigned teams in partnership with the leader(s).
- Provide advisory and consultative services to assigned business/functional leaders on HR-related issues.
- Oversee and/or facilitate employee relations investigations, including interviews, documentation and follow up, leading to appropriate outcomes.
- Leverage people data within global HCM (Workday) to provide actionable insights which will help to inform talent strategies and measure progress against goals.
- Demonstrate and foster a high-engagement culture through an intentional focus on employee listening, positive employee relations, talent development and retention.
- Serve as a role model and champion a culture of inclusion; support efforts and initiatives within assigned business/functional area.
- Assist with recruitment processes to identify talent that possesses key capabilities and leadership attributes needed for success. Utilize internal and external platforms to fill open positions as well as build the talent pipeline for the future.
- Support overall onboarding and onsite employee orientation to ensure a connected and engaging experience for new employees.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 years of HR experience required
- Ability to be a change agent and influence teams to shift quickly as business needs evolve/change
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, coach and influence while gaining buy-in and driving results
- Knowledge of relevant human resources-related laws and regulations and the ability to conduct or assist with investigations, maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
- Exceptional communication/ interpersonal skills, including strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Energetic, driven and enthusiastic, and able to cultivate a fast-paced, change-oriented workplace
Preferred Experience:
- HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience
- HRIS experience preferred; Workday system is a plus

- Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $80,000 - $100,000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package.
