Your Opportunity:
As the Indirect Sourcing Manager II, you’ll be recognized as a procurement expert who can develop, plan, implement, and maintain leading-edge sourcing strategies for a variety of indirect categories, MRO, manufacturing equipment and consumables, and facilities operations. As a leader within the TTC Global Strategic Sourcing team, you’ll strive to create a competitive advantage to our business divisions by reducing total cost, improving quality, and increasing delivery reliability in collaboration with suppliers.Your expertise will be foundational in crafting and executing sourcing strategies, developing robust supplier partnerships, skillfully negotiating contracts, and taking advantage of opportunities to enhance cost-effectiveness.Additionally, this is an opportunity to leverage spend and solutions across TTC’s US and Mexico-based manufacturing facilities.This is a hands-on role that supports the indirect team toward successful completion of these goals through coaching and mentoring.

Work Location:
The selected candidate may choose their work location, either in in Bloomington, MN Toro's International Corporate Headquarters;or Ditch Witch Division Headquarters in Perry, OK. Fully remote is not available at this time.
The current team works 3-days on campus, with optional 2-days remote.
This role includes travel 50% in the first year and 30% ongoing (both domestic and international) with related expense reporting duties.
Typical office environment as it pertains to lighting, temperature, and noise level when in administrative/operations offices.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse, and to handle other computer components
What Will You Do? Key Responsibilities:
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Act as a primary liaison to suppliers within the Supply Transformation program scope and assigned category segment(s)/ suppliers(s).Provide sourcing category expertise for all related categories, including insourcing vs. outsourcing models; Develop & execute a sourcing strategy for each assigned project category that incorporates internal customer requirements, business risk, and supplier capabilities.
Responsible for delivering results and leading strategic sourcing initiatives within the Supply Transformation program, including, but not limited to spend analysis, supply market analysis, supplier analysis, RFP; negotiations, contracting, product lifecycle management, and building business cases that support sourcing teams, acting as a coach, and recommending optimal application of the strategic sourcing process.
A strong ability to influence people towards a common goal will be critical to the success of this transformation.
Develop sustainable strategies for moderate to highly complex vendors/categories that include spend analysis, market considerations, and strategic importance, etc. Evaluate current market conditions on a regular basis and make any necessary changes to support the needs of the Toro Company business. Locate, analyze, and develop a consolidated strategic supplier base to support current and future business needs.
Establish and strengthen relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
Promote a collaborative, team-oriented approach with direct reports in an effort to continuously improve quality, increase delivery reliability, and reduce supply chain-related risk.
Promote collaboration of sourcing personnel with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Oversee multiple projects managed by indirect sourcing personnel.
Own your own portfolio of projects that deliver savings and process improvements
Routinely interact with internal customers in an effort to continuously improve processes, deliverables, and services.
Foster an environment of continuous learning and focus amongst the sourcing personnel. Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the procurement process, including the evaluation of existing contracts for savings opportunities and value creation.
Network with industry groups and strive to remain current with industry trends, identify best practices, and lead implementation efforts as needed.
Responsible for staffing, budgeting, and coaching, and development with direct reports.
All other tasks and assignments as needed and/or requested.
Job Dimensions
Project Execution – You’ll lead project critical strategies by interacting with key stakeholders on the identified category segment/suppliers with a focus on the future state. You’ll be collaborating with internal cross-functional partners and building relationships with suppliers. You’ll interface with engineering, legal, human resources, information technology, finance, marketing, manufacturing facilities and suppliers..
Value Creation – In this role, you will achieve significant negotiated savings while maintaining and improving supplier service levels. You will develop cost reduction strategies based on budgets and expectations for the category.
Supplier Relationship Management – Improve supplier partner performance. Monitor implementation of new contract terms. Review the supplier scorecard and oversee the performance of project identified category segments/suppliers
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area, such as supply chain, business, or STEM required.
Proven ability to think strategically both short- and long-term to ensure success across the category.
Demonstrated experience in negotiation, leading cross-functional teams, working with various levels of management,
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and team leadership skills.
Strong analytical abilities and research skills, including using internet sources as a resource.
Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Understanding of enterprise purchasing and planning systems, such as SAP and analytical tools.
Preferred:
Masters Degree preferred in a related field is preferred.
Institute of Supply Management (ISM) certification (CPSM, CPM) or equivalent, preferred.
Experience in sourcing globally (Mexico, China, India, and Europe) strongly desired.
Prior experience in SAP is preferred.
Job Title
The job title will be based on academic and prior years of experience.
Manager i: 5 years of supply chain experience, 3+ years of supply chain experience, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in supervising sourcing professionals desired.
Manager II: 7 years of supply chain experience, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in supervising sourcing professionals desired.

Competitive Salary– A reasonable salary estimate is $117,300 - $146,600 for this opportunity.The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
