What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
- Assist an Integrated Supply Chain Program Manager with program planning, execution, and reporting.
- Support capacity management projects through data analysis, scenario modeling, and performance tracking.
- Extract and analyze ERP or business system data using tools such as SAP, Excel, and Power BI.
- Use material or transactional data such as bills of materials, labor/machine hours by product, and annual usage to describe the operating capacity of an existing or proposed supply chain.
- Collaborate with a wide range of business functions including but not limited to Sourcing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure all stakeholder perspectives are represented in analysis.
- Use financial analysis and partner with subject matter experts to evaluate existing and proposed supply chains by determining investment and operating costs, and testing recommendations.
- Summarize and present complex data to leadership in an understandable format.
- Deliver a final project presentation highlighting findings, recommendations, and personal learning outcomes.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
- Junior or Senior status at time of internship
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Adaptable and flexible – able handle ambiguity and manage priorities that may change.
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability – takes ownership and demonstrates initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ERP experience is a plus.
Note: This role will be primarily office based but may visit manufacturing sites or supplier locations if required.
