What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

  • Engage in audit planning, walkthroughs, and testing procedures.

  • Prepare detailed work papers in accordance with established audit programs.

  • Assist in SOX compliance audits: Participate in assessing internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards.

  • Learn audit techniques and methodologies: Gain exposure to various audit techniques, including risk assessment, sampling, and testing.

  • Perform inventory audits: Assist in verifying the accuracy and completeness of inventory records.

  • Develop analytical and problem-solving skills: Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.

  • Build relationships with business partners: Interact with employees from various departments to understand their operations and identify potential risks.

  • Participate in a summer-long Finance project.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and preferably going into Senior year fall 2025.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP,) is a plus.

  • Customer Service: Strong commitment to support our internal and external stakeholders.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contributes well to collaborative projects.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail Oriented: High level of attention to detail in managing and processing information accurately.

Summer Hours *Based on Location* – Enjoy a flexible schedule during the summer! By working a little more during the first few days of the week, TTC employees at certain locations are able to start their weekends early and leave by noon on Friday.

Competitive Pay- The anticipated pay range is $18.00-26.00 per hour.
