Your Opportunity:
The Logistics Analyst plays a key role in advancing logistics strategy through network optimization and data‑driven decision support. This role is responsible for leading analytical work that evaluates logistics network design, transportation flows, and service tradeoffs to improve cost, service, and overall network performance. Partnering closely with ISC functional teams and business stakeholders, the Analyst translates complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform network design decisions and support the execution of logistics transformation initiatives.
Work Location / Other Components:
This role will be based at the Bloomington, MN Toro's International Corporate Headquarters. Fully remote is not available at this time.
This role will require 5-days on site during training.The current team works 3-days on campus, with optional 2-days remote.
Typical office environment as it pertains to lighting, temperature, and noise level when in administrative/operations offices.
May require occasional travel to other company sites, distribution centers, or supplier locations.
What Will You Do? Key Responsibilities:
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for strategic inventory, planning & execution:
Network Optimization & Transformation
Own workstreams for network optimization initiatives, including data preparation, modeling assumptions, scenario development, and interpretation of results.
Evaluate tradeoffs across cost, service, capacity, and volume to inform network design and logistics strategy decisions.
Support network transformation initiatives from concept through execution by developing business cases, tracking milestones, and measuring realized benefits.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure network recommendations are operationally feasible and aligned with financial and service objectives.
Analyze large, complex data sets to identify risks, constraints, and optimization opportunities within the logistics network.
Develop clear, decision‑ready recommendations that support footprint, flow, and mode strategy discussions.
Logistics & Business Analytics
Analyze logistics performance across various functional teams within ISC to support both short‑term decisions and long‑term network strategy.
Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools that improve visibility into cost, service, and network performance.
Support logistics procurement and continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance measurement.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with transportation, warehousing, finance, and business teams to support integrated planning and execution.
Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences, tailoring messages to the decision being made.
Document assumptions, methodologies, and outcomes to support transparency, repeatability, and change management related to network initiatives.

What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain analytics, network analysis, or a related role.
Strong experience working with large data sets and translating analysis into actionable recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis), PowerPoint.
Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross‑functional, fast‑paced environment.
Preferred:
Masters degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
Power BI experience preferred.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) a plus.
Exposure to network modeling, transportation analysis, logistics optimization, or scenario analysis preferred.

Competitive Salary– A reasonable salary estimate is $89,800 - $112,200for this opportunity.The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
