What Will You Do?
- Hardware-in-Loop – This will be the primary project for the co-op. Convert existing test systems to a new architecture, write new tests to expand coverage, review and execute regression tests.
- In addition to the test system design project:
- Component Testing Project(s)
- Creating test plans for electronic and mechatronic components
- Analyze test results to identify trends and failure modes
- Report test results and design recommendations
- Assist with other mechatronics projects as needed.
What Do You Need?
- Preferred Majors: 2+ Years Completed of an ABET-accredited Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering.
- Must be enrolled in a two semester (Spring-Summer) Co-Op program.
- Preferred Skills: Python, Arduino, LabVIEW, TestStand, Microsoft Office Suite, Soldering, Wiring, Electrical Schematics, DC Circuits, Embedded Systems
- Characteristics: Attention to Detail, Collaboration, Accountability
