What Will You Do?
The Technical Publications Department at The Toro Company is looking for an exceptional intern with great ideas, skills, and passion for multimedia design and innovation. In this position, you will create multimedia experiences that show our customers how to operate Toro software applications and machines. You will gain valuable experience using animation and video software, working with multiple departments, and performing usability testing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will:
·Create illustrations, storyboards, line art, animations, videos, augmented reality, and motion graphics.
·Define and translate customer requirements into effective graphical instructions.
·Present innovative approaches that inspire, inform, and captivate audiences.
·User test animations, motion graphics, and augmented reality experiences.
·Use the Toro Graphics Style Guide and the Toro Animations Style Guide.
·Enhance your skills using PTC products (Windchill, Creo Parametric, Creo Illustrate).
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following minimal requirements:
·Undergraduate or graduate student with two years or less left to graduate in multimedia design, animation, or a related field with experience in animation.
·Design portfolio that reflects demonstrated ability in technical illustration, 3D animation, and video creation.
·Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
·Proficiency with animation and video software such as Maya, Adobe After Effects, and Camtasia.
·Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
·Availability to participate for the duration of the Internship Program full-time.
