Toro’s Center for Technology, Research, and Innovation (CTRI)works on behalf of all our markets and customers to investigate emerging technologies and generate ideas that solve problems in ways that are both novel and useful.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Developing hardware and software features for prototype landscape management technology
Evaluating and integrating sensor technologies into machine telemetry systems
Collaborating with data analysts to ensure end-to-end compatibility and actionable outcomes from new data streams
Conducting miscellaneous field and laboratory projects as needed
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Undergraduate Junior or Senior or Masters candidate in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science required
Experience with embedded C programming (STM32, ESP32, ARM, etc.) and common data structures
Understanding of hardware communication protocols (CAN bus, WiFi, BLE, etc.) preferred
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and protocols (AWS, Azure, MQTT, HTTP, etc.) desirable
Must be able to independently and creatively solve problems with a team-first mentality

Competitive Pay–anticipatedpay$22.00-$33.00 per hour.
