Job Purpose:

Responsible for driving product sales, marketing, and execution of all aspects of the store and .com business for assigned Regional Accounts. Lead the development, implementation, and execution of processes to better support Toro’s customer service relationship and business with Lowe’s, Altaquip and Toro Authorized Dealers.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: ​

  • Work directly with the Segment Leader, Home Improvement Channel in the development and execution of the annual plan for assigned Regional Accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive products, pricing, promotions, and make tactical recommendations to ensure competitiveness and to drive growth and market share.
  • Responsible for all product item setups, product reviews, and item maintenance.
  • Maintain and optimize product information on retailer .com sites by partnering with marketing team to update assets, copy, etc.
  • Coordinate the managing of and preparation for the approval process for new accounts that include pricing, programming, insurance, and terms.
  • Support execution of retailer trade shows, store manager’s meetings, and other key events, to include product shipments, event logistics, facility set-up, merchandising, and overall brand presence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Lowe’s, Altaquip and TPP (Third Party Provider) providers by being the primary point person for everything related to OFR (Out for Repair) and RTV (Return to Vendor).
  • Work with Altaquip and other TPP service centers on questions about warranty specific repairs.
  • Develop necessary processes to support and document any/all OFR and RTV claims and compliance.
  • Point person for all out of box parts claims and fulfillment needs.
  • Manage, document, and see through to completion all RTV requests from Lowe’s or escalations from our Mass team partners.
  • Manage Lowe’s Gateway and dispute RTV’s that fall outside the contractual requirement and work with finance for alignment on RTV deductions or credits.
  • Facilitate resolution of all store-related issues (displays, missing parts, etc.) as primary point of contact for assigned retailer(s).
  • All other projects and tasks as assigned
  • Onsite working conditions with dedicated workspace at Toro corporate headquarters in Bloomington, MN.
  • Minimal travel (<25%).

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related discipline.
  • One to three+ years of marketing, sales, retail, or related experience (durable goods preferred).
  • Collaborative, results-driven team player.
  • Self-starter with the ability to start and complete projects with minimal to moderate supervision.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in PC and system skills to include MS Teams, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Qlikview / Microsoft Power BI, SAP (or similar).
  • Reports directly to Segment Leader, Home Improvement Channel, Residential Business.
