The Senior Project Manager to guide a cross-functional team of individuals who work to elevate capabilities within the Strategic Technologies portfolio. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities to ensure initiative objectives are accomplished within the project constraints.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Manage application development projects within the eBusiness portfolio.
Daily management of agile processes.
Actively facilitate program increment, sprint planning, daily stand-up, and retrospective agile meetings.
Enforce Project Management Office (PMO) and PDLC (Product Development Life Cycle) standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
Prepare communications for stakeholders, including project status reports, project time/budget reports, and other project-related documents.
Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
Ensure quality through quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control techniques.
Work closely with the end-users, business technologists, and others to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs.
Maintain a strong understanding of The Toro Company's business objectives and industry trends.
Analyzes resource, technology, and business constraints to make clear recommendations for delivering large complex projects.
Resolve project problems or concerns promptly.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field
Project Manager III 5+ years of professional experience.
Project Manager II 2+ years of professional experience.
Project management experience in software engineering involving the development and testing of applications is highly desirable.
Solid project management and agile skillset with the ability to multitask and manage multiple initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
Solid understanding of the software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management.
Experience with waterfall, agile, and hybrid project methodologies.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels across a matrix organization
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
Technical understanding in hardware and systems software, as well as experience implementing packages and working with vendors.
Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations.
Gather knowledge and understanding of business to maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.

Flexible Work Arrangements – This team is currently implementing a hybrid work schedule. The opportunity to collaborate in the office and work from home part-time, has promoted team-building and flexibility.
Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $95000 - $138000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance.
