Your Opportunity:

As a Senior Manager, Integrated Business Planning will lead the integrated business planning (IBP) process for the Landscape and Contractor Group at TTC.  Manage the integrated reconciliation (IR) review process, facilitate the management business review (MBR) process (publish the MBR information slide deck, brief the executive leadership team on decisions made, and decisions needed, manage action items), manage divisional demand teams and analytical support, and monitor the quality of input/output of the various process steps.  This role is anticipated to have 4-5 direct subordinates.

Work Location:

  • This opportunity is based out of Bloomington, MN international headquarters.Other job locations and/or fully remote is not available at this time.

  • The current team works a hybrid model with 3-days on-site and optional 2-days remote. 5-days at the Bloomington campus is also available.

  • This role includes <10% domestic and possible international travel to the North American TTC supply points for relationship building/collaboration with the general managers of these locations.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

  • Provide group and divisional leadership teams with information to support decision-making and to align the company’s product/portfolio, demand, supply, and financial plans and requirements.  

  • Drive the execution of group and divisional strategies by aligning actions to the business’ strategic vision.  

  • Lead cross-functional teams as required to resolve projected supply/demand imbalances and other issues within the decision-making space.  

  • Manage the divisional demand teams, who run the monthly demand review process and tactical (short-term) demand and supply synchronization process.  

  • Facilitate the monthly group IR and the monthly group MBR meetings.  

  • Track, monitor, and report IBP process KPIs, including plan accuracy, bias, inventory level, and fill rate.  

  • Serve as the primary business liaison between group and integrated supply chain (ISC) for mid-to-long term alignment on business plans.  

  • Ensure the systems and business processes establish IBP as the centralized demand hub to consolidate, analyze, track, and report demand and financial projection monthly changes.  

  • Partner with finance to increase reliance on financial indicators in the IBP decision-making processes improving the annual budgeting process.  

  • Manage a group of analysts in support of divisional and group analysis objectives. 

  • Provide analytical support to improve the quality and timeliness of IBP data and reporting for product/portfolio, demand, supply, and finance, including contingency plans and changes.  

  • Coach and mentor owners and participants, as defined by the IBP roles and responsibilities framework. 

  • Support IBP process step owners through continuous improvement, and end-to-end integration of the IBP process 

  • Ensure organizational adoption and acceptance of the IBP process to improve control and utilization of resources.  

  • Monitor and ensure quality and timeliness of inputs/outputs of all IBP process steps (PMR, DR, SR, IRR, MBR).  

  • Identify and implement appropriate tools to support the integrated business planning process and ensure aggregate plans can be easily translated to executable detailed plans 

  • Identify tactical planning “below the line” processes that need to be improved to support IBP and work with functional leaders to identify improvement plans. 

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

  • Bachelors degree is required in operations management, finance, marketing, or equivalent education and experience. 

  • (10) Ten years of progressive experience required, within a manufacturing industry (including at least three years of management experience, preferably with multiple levels of reporting). 

  • Demonstrated experience establishing and implementing large-scale programs.  

  • Demonstrated ability to work with executive management, stakeholders and to influence and drive change at all levels of a matrixed organization, across multiple cultures, disciplines, and geographies. 

  • Demonstrated ability to define challenges, solve problems in a logical and orderly way and translate solutions into effective plans and actions.  

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing trends and identifying effective strategies and actions based on statistical analysis.  

  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills. 

  • Motivated self-starter who is dedicated, determined and persistent. 

  • Good knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, and other data analysis tools required. 

Preferred:

  • Masters Degree preferred in operations management, finance, marketing, or equivalent education and experience.  

  • Successful implementation and management of a S&OP/IBP program preferred.  

  • APICS CSCP and CPIM certifications preferred.

  • Competitive Salary A reasonable pay range for this opportunity is $156,000-$185,000​.The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
