What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Manages and resolves day-to-day operational issues such as import documentation discrepancies, classification, valuation, etc.
Broker management
HS classification
Monitors changes to the Canadian tariff and duty rates
Maintains electronic recordkeeping of documentation and data for customs entries and amendments (B3 & B2)
Extracts and analyzes trade data from CARM, customs brokers, and internal software to perform internal compliance audits, resolve identified issues, and perform corrective actions
Performs CUSMA and other free trade qualification analysis
Assists in all projects relative to CBSA requests & audits to ensure responses are timely and accurate
Builds and maintains excellent working relationships with internal and external partners
Provide support for all other duties within the department as necessary
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of deep experience working with Canadian imports and CBSA regulations
- Knowledge of tariff classification, country of origin, valuation and the CARM client portal
- Experience with Canada’s Trade Agreements, including CUSMA, CETA, CPTPP, etc.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple high priority tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full professional fluency in English; both verbal and written
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Familiar with SAP & other enterprise systems
- Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist a plus
- US CBP import experience a plus
- Working hours are daytime in US central time zone

Competitive Salary– The pay rangetakes into accountskills, experience, education, and location.It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between$90,000-$105,000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package.
