As the Workday HR Analyst IV, you will be responsible for overall HR systems performance and maintenance, including system administration, configuration, data integrity, and information security. Serves as the principal Workday expert, leading large-scale initiatives and influencing cross-functional decisions to drive innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across HR systems.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Serve as principal expert and own end-to-end system design and configuration for assigned Workday areas.
Lead enterprise HRIS programs, including large-scale implementations, system transformations and acquisition-related activities.
Oversee enterprise processes such as performance cycles and talent reviews.
Influence Workday strategy by advising leaders on system capabilities, trade-offs, and roadmap priorities.
Own and govern Workday security, including role design, user access, and permission assignments; ensure appropriate access controls are in place to maintain data integrity, comply with security and privacy requirements, and support business operations. Establish and enforce data governance, compliance, and audit frameworks.
Define system design standards, architecture, and frameworks. Maintain and govern Workday foundational data structures, including supervisory organizations, cost centers, job profiles, locations, and custom organizations.
Serve as lead and liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors. Oversee integration strategy and system performance, guide resolution of complex issues.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to HRIS team members while supporting complex, escalated system issues and enterprise initiatives.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field.
7+ years of HRIS experience (Workday preferred).
Expert-level knowledge of HR systems architecture, configuration, and integrations.
Proven ability to lead large-scale HRIS initiatives and system transformations.
Deep understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation.

Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $104,000 - $129,000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance.
