Set Up Technician - The Toro Company

1.  Observes and demonstrates all safety policies and practices including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment and Hazardous Waste handling practices.  Follows all requirements of Hazardous Energy Control programs, applicable NEC, ANSI, CDRH, OSHA, Federal, State and Local regulations.

2.  Assits with operating expenses management and performance indicators to ensure expenses do not exceed budget levels. Reports real-time variances in production plans.

3.  Diagnoses and directs the resolution of machinery maintenance  to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Assists with determining an appropriate schedule for preventative maintenance tasks.

4.  Recommends daily, weekly and monthly staffing needs and addresses demands to increase or decrease staffing levels based on production needs/forecast.

5.  Inspects tooling and equipment to ensure operational performance and optimum utilization.

6.  Assists with raw material inventory.

7.  Resolves day to day scrap issues with Leads and Supervisors.

8. Works with Quality Department  to ensure finished goods meet specifications.

9. Assists with the implementation of operational procedures for standard work.

10. Works with production planning to set priorities for production forecast.
