Driver Tugger - The Toro Company

Pay: $11/hr plus, based on experience

The tugger performs a range of duties related to the receiving, movement, and order pulling of product and materials in a timely and accurate manner according to day-to-day schedule adherence of the site within Safety & Quality standards.  

​Duties

• Transfer finished molded product from the production area to the warehouse.
• Operation of pallet stacking machine, stretch wrapping, packaging and other equipment as required.
• Operation of 4 wheeled electric or gas power vehicles that will pull a train of carts to transfer material from the production floor to the warehouse.
• Pushing and pulling of manual carts to be loaded and unloaded onto train and placed in key locations on production floor.

Required Skills

• A minimum of one year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract six (6) digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 1 O's and 1 OO's without the use of calculator.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to deal with problem involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
