BOSS Snowplow, located in Iron Mountain, Michigan, is a division of The Toro Company.  BOSS is a leader in the snow and ice management business with a growing lineup of plows for trucks, UTVs and ATVs, salt and sand spreaders, and box plows built for the snow and ice management professional, as well as the homeowner. With a focus on uncompromising quality and high-level craftsmanship, BOSS has grown to be a leader in the sale of truck plows. 

Your Opportunity:

The Marketing Specialist II serves as the operational backbone of the BOSS Marketing Department — ensuring marketing campaigns, product launches, programs, and events are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role focuses on project coordination, process management, and cross-functional collaboration to enable the team’s creative and strategic success. The Specialist will manage project workflows, align priorities across teams, and support marketing reporting, budgeting, and communication efforts. This position plays a critical role in driving consistency, accountability, and visibility across all marketing initiatives.

What Will You Do? 

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

  • Plan, coordinate, and track marketing campaigns, programs, and product launches.

  • Manage workflow systems, calendars, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion.

  • Serve as the liaison between marketing, product management, sales, and other internal departments.

  • Support marketing budget tracking, invoice processing, and reporting for accuracy and accountability.

  • Lead cross-functional communication to align project priorities and remove roadblocks.

  • Assist in planning and executing dealer programs, tradeshows, and events.

  • Maintain internal documentation, project timelines, and marketing process templates.

  • Compile marketing performance reports, ROI analyses, and campaign recaps.

  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks or delays.

  • Support implementation and management of marketing tools (DAM, CRM, analytics, etc.).

  • Coordinate ad agency and vendor relationships, creative asset delivery, and production logistics.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager to drive efficiency and continuous process improvement.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

  • High School or GED Equivalent required.

  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing project coordination, operations, or campaign management required.

  • Project Management: Organizes and drives projects to completion with precision.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, Microsoft Planner).Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Operational Excellence: Streamlines processes to improve efficiency and visibility. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

  • Collaboration: Builds productive relationships across departments. Ability to drive alignment across diverse teams and manage complex workflows.

  • Analytical Thinking: Uses data to inform and improve marketing per formance.Analytical mindset with a focus on results and continuous improvement.

  • Accountability: Ensures deadlines, budgets, and deliverables are met.Strong understanding of marketing processes, budgets, and analytics.

  • Adaptability: Responds effectively to changing priorities and business needs.

Preferred:  

  • Bachelors degree (B.A.)or Masters Degree (MBA) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.

  • Prior experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, preferred.

Other Job-Related Components?

  • Approximately 10–15% travel required (U.S. and Canada).

  • May be required to work offsite for dealer events, tradeshows, or marketing activations.Outdoor environment includes work in all kinds of weather while operating and demonstrating machinery in site conditions such as snow, ice, cold weather, etc.

  • Competitive Salary – A reasonable pay range for this role is$68,000-$80,000.The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
