Job Purpose:
Ensure full regulatory compliance in customs, logistics, and foreign trade operations under the IMMEX program for a small Distribution Center. Coordinate and optimize domestic and international logistics activities, including temporary imports, virtual exports, certifications, and audits, ensuring alignment with national and international trade regulations.

In order to grow and build a successful career at The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
- Oversee the end-to-end management of import/export processes, including temporary imports, IMMEX-to-IMMEX transfers, definitive imports, and virtual exports for a small Distribution Center.
- Ensure strict compliance with customs regulations, Annex 24 and 30, Rule Eight, VAT/IEPS, NOMs, and non-tariff barriers.
- Coordinate domestic and international deliveries, track shipment status in real time, and be customer-oriented in problem resolution of related issues that may arise.
- Assign and supervise carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure efficient flow of goods.
- Knowledge of SAP and inventory control systems.
- Obtain all necessary export permits and licenses for international shipments.
- Prepare, manage, and validate customs and logistics documentation (pedimentos, invoices, packing lists, BLs).
- Oversee audits from SAT, ANAM, SECIIT, and OEA; maintain audit readiness and certification documentation.
- Analyze logistics and trade operations to identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.

What do you need?
Job Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, an individual must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs Law, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IMMEX service companies or customs/logistics compliance roles.
- In-depth understanding of IMMEX Program, Rule Eight (Regla Octava), Annex 24/30, VUCEM, and SAT systems.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations for Latin America, including Mexican Official Standards (NOMs).
- Knowledge of incoterms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and trade compliance platforms.
- English language proficiency.

- Strong leadership and team coordination across customs, logistics, and foreign trade areas.
- High attention to regulatory detail and audit compliance.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with authorities and vendors.
- Problem-solving, process optimization, and analytical thinking.
