Job Purpose: Entry Level Position.

Customer Care Representative (CCR) provides exceptional order to invoice customer relations experience for assigned accounts. Works with customers to manage product availability and shipment consolidation in an effort to satisfy their requirements. CCR is customer driven with a high focus on anticipate customer requirements and strong open communication.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

In order to grow and build a successful career at The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinates information flow, orders, and shipments to meet shipping goals of the customer(s) and division(s).  Coordinates order to cash processes between Sales and Production (SFD) for the East Coast and Mexico regions (production and shipping scheduling).   Produces and distributes order management reports to customers to optimize consolidation of truckload shipments.
  • Processes shipments for international customers in accordance with export regulations. Confirming orders and lead time. Unconfirmed orders and lead time.  Available credit. Warranties, RGAs and others.  Future payments. Product development of product portfolio (new business opportunities). Accurately, follows new business opportunities and coordinates all order to cash operations.
  • Supports and interacts with sales and marketing, buyers and planners, distribution centers, credit, and traffic to facilitate order requirements. Maintains daily contact with Sales Representative regarding pricing inquires, discrepancies on customer’s purchase orders and updates on customer order status.
  • Performs customer credits, debits, warranties, change pricing and internal audits.
  • Maintains best in class responsiveness to correspondence with internal and external customers.  Identifies and communicates any issues which would delay or impede prompt shipment of orders.

Job Dimensions:

The role reports directly to a Manager, Customer Care & Technical Service, and is a crucial member of our customer service team, providing essential support to internal and external customers. This position involves regular communication with sales managers, manufacturing sites and serves as the point of contact for end customers. Will handle sensitive information, requiring discretion and a high level of professionalism.

Job Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, an individual must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • High School Diploma with 2-3 years of experience in Customer Service role, Bachelor's Degree any related field with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Communication skills at all levels.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Invoice Processing.
  • SAP - 1 year of practical experience.

  • Possess a proactive solutions mindset; organized and detail oriented with strong time management skills .
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations, remaining focused on the ultimate objective.
  • Lean Standard Work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to support interaction and development of relationships with a wide range of internal and external customers .
  • Capacity to work independently as well as within a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
