Job Purpose: To manage and execute import and export operations efficiently and in full compliance with Mexican customs legislation. Ensure regulatory compliance, timely release of goods, and proper application of trade agreements, permits, and regulations. This role is critical to guaranteeing the continuous flow of materials, equipment, and finished products, while optimizing costs and minimizing legal risks.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
In order to grow and build a successful career at The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare commercial invoices and electronic documents required for import and export operations, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.
- Timely submission of required documentation to customs brokers for import procedures, following established guidelines.
- Coordinate with the security department to deliver export documentation, ensuring adherence to internal procedures and applicable regulations.
- Maintain inventory control in accordance with Annex 24 and Annex 31 requirements, focusing on downloads, report generation, and inventory reconciliation.
- Coordinate and execute continuous improvement initiatives to ensure proper management of temporarily imported goods under IMMEX.
- Follow up on and ensure compliance with certification requirements such as IVA/IEPS, CTPAT, Authorized Economic Operator, and others applicable to the company.
- Correctly apply trade agreements (e.g., USMCA/TMEC, ALADI) and special programs such as IMMEX, PROSEC, or Rule 8TH.
- Manage permits and non-tariff regulations with relevant authorities such as the Ministry of Economy, COFEPRIS, SEMARNAT, SADER, among others.

What do you need?
Job Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, an individual must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in foreign trade, international business, logistics or related field.
- Two to four (2-4) years of experience.
- Annex 22, 24, 31.
- SAP, 2TS, VASTERA, PRISMA CODICE, PSI, ZOE, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of import/export laws.
- Excellent customer service.
- Communication skills at all levels.
- Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- A diploma or certification in customs legislation or tariff classification is preferred.
- Lean Standard Work.
- Experience and/or knowledge of: BASC, CTPAT, ISO9000.
