Job Purpose: Engineer I, process & standards, is responsible for Engineering Processes associated with the design of new products. i.e. SAP BOM Management, Change Management, CAD Design and Drafting. Lead and coordinate engineering processes supporting new product concepts, new products, or improvements to existing products. In charge of qualification process of new extrusion lines and products changes, leading the extrusion process and training production areas and shifts.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

In order to grow and build a successful career at The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

  • Execute and manage SAP activities associated with Engineering Bill of Material creation and release
  • Execute and manage Design Change activities utilizing Windchill and its SAP and CREO interfaces.
  • Support NPD and Sustaining Product Engineering with the completion of 3D CAD and drafting activities, as required, to support new product release and design change projects.
  • Performs functions as required by established engineering procedures including project requests through engineering release and change management procedures.
  • Assures that designs meet the requirements of the customer as defined by safety and any applicable industry or Toro standards.
  • Keeps abreast of new technological developments, components, concepts, materials, manufacturing processes, or competitive environment, which would affect the design or design process

What do you need?

Job Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, an individual must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree concluded with 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Extrusion processes experience.
  • Product lifecycle management
  • SAP, CREO & AutoCAD.
  • Communication skills at all levels.
  • Microsoft Office
  • English language proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Green belt.
