What are the most common activities?
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
In order to grow and build a successful career at The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and managing the master production schedule (daily, monthly, and annually) to align with forecasted demand and available capacity.
- Ensuring the feasibility of production plans by validating the availability of raw materials and confirming accurate delivery dates.
- Maintaining and updating the capacity profile by production line and part number to optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinating with the sales, materials, and production teams to communicate short-term and long-term plans clearly and effectively.
- Supporting Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Inventory Target Planning (ITP) processes, ensuring accurate data and timely deliverables.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to plan and implement new product introductions (NPI) or design changes while maintaining schedule integrity.
- Monitoring and controlling inventory levels in raw material and distribution centers to meet established targets.
- Leading and participating in planning meetings to review performance, production priorities, and capacity adjustments.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen, CDI, and cost-reduction activities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Preparing and submitting end-of-month planning reports, ensuring all documentation is accurate and aligned with company requirements.

What do you need?
Job Qualifications
To be considered for this position, an individual must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or international Logistics Engineering.
- Advanced English level, capable of holding fluent technical and business conversations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service, production planning, and materials control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP).
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience supporting S&OP or IBP processes.
- Knowledge of Kanban systems and Bill of Materials (BOM) structures.
- Familiarity with C-TPAT compliance.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
