As a Recruiter II, you will be responsible for recruiting applicants for a wide range of open positions at The Toro Company (TTC) through TTC’s career site, employee referrals, job fairs, and other sources. Makes contact and screens candidates to evaluate work history, competency and other qualifications. Collaborates with HR managers and hiring managers to prepare and make offers.
What are the most common activities?
In order to grow and build a successful career at The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
- Support company talent acquisition strategies in alignment with the business objectives of TTC.
- Build relationships and partner with HR business leaders and hiring managers to understand open positions and hiring needs.
- Sources and attracts candidates through a variety of methods.
- Identify and recommend process improvements; participate as a member of project teams.
- Actively engage in recruiting activities aimed at reaching a diverse pool of candidates including but not limited to women, minorities, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
- Evaluate candidates through phone screens and behavioral-based interviews.
- Effectively and efficiently prioritize requisition loads; work independently to fill positions in a responsive and timely manner
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned or apparent.

Work Environment:
- Typical office environment.
- May require limited travel to TTC sites.
What do you need?
To be considered for this position, an individual must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two to four (2-4) years of recruiting and HR experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal leaders, hiring managers and HR partners.
- Demonstrated proficiency with applicant tracking systems and online recruitment tools.
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of government employment laws and regulations for Mexico with focus on talent acquisition.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Preferred Requirements:
- Workday & Tress.
- Previous experience collaborating in a cross-function and multi-site role.
- CTPAT, OEA, BASC.
- Ley Federal del Trabajo.
