Your Opportunity:

HammerHead, a dvision of the Toro Company, is looking for an Customer Service Specialist in Lake Mills, WI.  

Sponsorship:

Work Location:

  • This opportunity is on-site at HammerHead Trenchless office, in Lake Mills, WI.  

  • Other job locations, hybrid, and/or fully remote is not available at this time. 

  • The selected candidate should plan the majority of their core work hours on-site, typical day shift, Monday-Friday.  Remote from other geographies is not available at this time.

  • Factory based (Lake Mills, WI) 

  • Inside sales office 

  • Regular, extended use of the telephone, computer 

  • Rapidly changing demands, schedules, and deadlines 

  • Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday

What Will You Do? 

In order to grow and build a successful career with HammerHead/The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

  • Phone duties, incoming calls, sales calls, and product support 

  • Invoicing - Select billing, print invoices and post invoices 

  • Responsible for maintaining and updating monthly Sales Operation Metrics 

  • Sales reports 

  • Enter ECN’s (Engineering Change Notice) 

  • Order entry – Domestic and international sales 

  • Review sales quotes to ensure accuracy 

  • Manage incoming orders (dealer and or direct) 

  • Equipment returns 

What Do You Need? 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.   To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

  • High School diploma required 

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ of related experience.  

  • Technical background & computer skills are essential 

  • Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel systems experience.

  • Possess a strong numeric keypad proficiency and be capable of typing at least 40 words per minute.

  • Ability to work in close collaborative team environments with various groups to lead and drive successful results. 

  • Excellent communication and writing skills. 

  • Outstanding customer service skills, outgoing, personable, dependable, highly and self-motivated. 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks. 

  • Demonstrated self-starter who is highly motivated that can work independently to deliver results 

Preferred? 

  • Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the construction field is preferred.   

  • Prior sales-related experience and attributes is preferred. 

  • Freight logistics background is preferred. 

Job Title:

At the time of a job offer, the job title and job grade (I or II) will be determined based on the following criteria:  Candidate's academic background, combined with years of experience. 

  • Customer Service Representative I: 1-4 years prior customer service experience and excellent phone skills.

  • Customer Service Representative II: 5+ years prior customer service experience and excellent phone skills.
