Toro is seeking a highly motivated individual for position of Lead SAP Finance Business Analyst.  The position acts as an intermediary between the business and IS to collect, clarify and translate business requirements into a conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which software solution are created.  They will assist in SAP FICO configuration, quality assurance, defining testing strategy, risk identification, develop test plans, participate in testing and support.

What Will You do?

  • Serve as a designated expert in Finance SAP modules and business processes. Build and maintain relationships and communications with business partners/customers, IS colleagues and senior management to participate in the gathering and fulfillment of information and system needs.

  • Assist manager in defining strategy and roadmaps for Finance area.

  • Implement and enhance SAP features. Recommends methods to use standard configuration and existing code to support business requirements.

  • Demonstrate leadership in system development methodology, policies, principles and standards. Research, recommend and implement best practices in SAP where applicable. Create and organize documentation on best practices, business procedures, reporting, SAP configuration and master data maintenance.

  • Lead requirements definition, testing, training, implementation, and support.

  • Identify and analyze problems, determines causes, evaluate alternative solutions, and make recommendations for action.

  • Identify customer requirements, develop test schedules, design and review testing plans, and administer the tracking and documentation of development/results.

  • Effectively translate business needs into specifications to be used by development staff to create technical designs and programming specifications; assist with design and review of specifications.

  • Solicit client requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing system documentation or procedures. Promote knowledge transfer on SAP usage and configuration techniques.

  • Use industry standard analysis techniques to uncover client requirements such as data flow modeling, use-case analysis, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis and business process mapping.

  • Use knowledge of business processes and SAP functionality to develop and propose new solutions that promote business objectives.

  • Participate in or lead the development of project plans and related documentation.

  • Identify areas of potential business or project risk and communicate these to the Project Manager or team leader.

  • In depth understanding of the integration points of the specified SAP modules and associated business processes used in the environment.

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills (written & verbal) with both IS and business personnel.

  • Demonstrate ability to deal with and manage conflict.

  • Train end users on SAP modules, and provide technical guidance and cross training to peers.

  • Stay current on SAP functional knowledge. Remains aware of developments within the broad area of Information Technology.

What Do You Need?

Education and Experience

  • Lead Business Systems Analyst: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field and 8+ years of demonstrated experience in configuration of the Finance SAP functional modules and the related business processes or equivalent years of experience

  • Business Systems Analyst III: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field and 6+  years of demonstrated experience in configuration of the Finance SAP functional modules and the related business processes or equivalent years of experience

  • Experience with SAP version ERP ECC 6.0 or above.

  • Strong configuration experience in FICO sub modules General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Special purpose Ledger, Product costing, Profitability analysis, FSCM, Credit and Revenue Recognition, Vendor Invoice Management.

Capabilities

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing SAP at global, multi-site organizations, including detailed experience in SAP module configuration, and business process re-engineering.

  • Experience in SAP Central Finance implementation preferred

  • Solid understanding of ABAP Development process needed to complete functional specs and in developing solutions with the technical team

  • Strong understanding of integration of FICO modules with other SAP modules like SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning).

  • Good understanding the various modules of SAP FICO and be able to configure and support various functionalities including:

    • General Ledger master data, configuration and maintenance, Business Area, Profit Center

    • New GL: Basic New GL, Document splitting configuration

    • Foreign Currency: Configuration, including integration of rates with bank foreign Currency Revaluation process Foreign Currency Translation process

    • Intercompany sales of goods including Stock Transfer Orders Transfer pricing configuration for intercompany transactions

    • VAT configuration & reporting

    • Accounts Receivable: Customer Credit card processing and integration with bank lockbox functionality for customer cash receipts, automatic cash application to accounts lockbox: Basic configuration with Z developments for Cash application rules, BAI, EDI 820 and 812.Dunning process

    • Accounts Payable: Bank integration, payment methods including check, ACH, wire, credit card, check management automatic payment program for vendors: including non-US payment methods (BACS, BECS, SEPA Electronic Bank Statement integration)

    • Asset accounting module:

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of the business functionality. Ability to work with business representatives and apply business expertise to ensure quality and accuracy in systems analysis and design

  • Strong understanding of modeling techniques and using SAP blue printing and SAP ASAP methodology

  • Experience creating compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations

  • Ability to work through and solve complex problems quickly Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing environments, learn quickly and teach others.

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, presentation, and written communication skills

  • Strong influence management skills

  • Project leadership/management experience. Experience leading project teams and coordinating activities to achieve a common goal

  • Global experience and orientation

  • Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $110,000 - $150,000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance.
