Receiving - Ventrac
Production
Orrville, Ohio
Hours: First shift, Monday through Friday 5:00am - 2:30pm
Pay: $18/hr
Summary:
This person will replenish component stock for continuous flow assembly lines while maintaining the receiving/productionsupplyarea in an organized and clean condition. This person will set up assembly lines for the Assembly Department.
Position Responsibilities:
- Report discrepancies to department manager
- Stage materials to the production lines according to the pick lists
- Restock KANBAN items as requested
- Participate in inventory cycle counts
- Ensure warehouse is clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Positive attitude
- Proven organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Must work well in a teamwork environment with strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated with excellent project and time management skills
- Proficient working in email and basic computer systems
- Ability to read and comprehend pick lists and schedules
- Physically able to safely operate Ventrac equipment (tow motor, stock chaser, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and stretch overhead, stand, twist, bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a hot/cold indoor and outdoor environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience in Receiving or Shipping
- CDL License
