Tugger/Material Handler - Ventrac

Hours:Monday - Friday 5:00am -1:30pm

Wage: $19 - 21/hr depending on skillset

Tugger operator/Material Handler transports materials within the warehouse, manufacturing facility or distribution center using a tugger vehicle/forklift/stock chaser and maintaining efficient workflows. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety protocols and schedules.

Position Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Operating a forklift/stock chaser/tugger vehicle to transport materials and parts to designated locations.
• Loading and Unloading: Loading and unloading materials onto or from the tugger/stock chaser, potentially using other equipment such as a forklift.
• Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safe material handling practices and potential hazards associated with tugger/stock chaser/forklift use.
• Inventory Management: Ensuring accurate material movement to prevent errors.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong customer service skills
• Self-motivated with excellent project and time management skills
• Proficient working in email and basic computer systems
• Ability to read and comprehend pick lists and schedules
• Physically able to safely operate Ventrac equipment (IE. tow motor, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and stretch overhead, stand, twist, bend for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a hot/cold environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
