Job summary
As an Area Sales Manager Golf Irrigation – The Toro Company, you will play a key role in growing Toro’s irrigation business across France, Central & Eastern Europe and North Africa. Acting as the face of The Toro Company in your region, you work closely with distributors and key market influencers to strengthen partnerships, grow market share and deliver consistent customer value.
You operate in an international environment where autonomy, relationship‑building and commercial insight are essential. This role offers the opportunity to combine strategic sales leadership with hands‑on market presence in a technically strong and well‑established global organization.
What Will You Do?
To grow and build a successful career with Toro, you will be responsible for:
- Drive sales growth and market share through strong distributor partnerships
- Develop and execute regional sales and business plans in line with Toro objectives
- Actively manage key accounts, projects and specifications within your territory
- Support distributors with sales, product and market development initiatives
- Represent Toro with customers, consultants, designers and end‑users
- Gather market and competitive intelligence to support continuous improvement
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or commercial field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in irrigation, technical sales or related industries
- Strong commercial mindset with excellent relationship‑building skills
- Fluency in English and French. Any additional language relevant to the region is beneficiary
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory (approx. 75%)
- High level of autonomy, organization and professionalism
