Unique Lighting Systems is a leading brand of professional grade lighting fixtures, low voltage transformers, LED lamps and the patented HUB system for installation. Serving both residential and commercial markets, Unique Lighting Systems offers a full line of outdoor lighting products.
The Customer Service Coordinator II provides administrative support to the Controller Repair department. Performs tasks associated with repaired controllers, returns of irrigation controllers for stock, repair and warranty service. Compiles data and prepares invoices.
Wage: $24.75 per hour
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
- Receives purchase orders for controller repairs and processes purchase orders into a computerized operating system.
- Provides accurate and timely information to the customer, distributor personnel, controller repair personnel, and internal personnel regarding controller repair status, costs, and warranty information.
- Uses a computerized operating system to track controller inventory and service repair status.
- Gathers information and prepares records to complete the invoicing process.
- Accesses customer repair loop to include equipment problems, part number, and serial number for future reference.
- Prepares credit memorandums.
- Posts transactions to computer files.
- Provides validation information to order services and finance on warranty claim information
- Provides documentation and follow up with customers on core return status
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Education:High School diploma or GED.
- Experience:3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.In addition to years of experience, skill sets, job knowledge, performance, and scope of work will determine the employee’s potential grade level.
- Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of and ability to effectively use a personal computer and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.Knowledge of systems applications software highly desirable.
- Language Skills:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
- Reasoning Skills:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
