The Scheduler will coordinate and maintain schedules for operational activities, ensuring efficient use of resources, timely task completion, and effective communication of schedule changes to support overall business objectives.
Hours:Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm, with overtime as needed
What Will You Do?
Coordinate and maintain schedules for production, service, or administrative activities to ensure timely completion of tasks, and effective communication of schedule changes to support overall business objectives. Work areas include, but not limited to all traction lines.
- Analyze clear to build requirements.
- Maintain daily production plans covering a rolling 2 months.
- Review Line Rate Data file for capacity planning purposes.
- Schedule assembly trials, pre-series, etc.
- Monitor resource availability (personnel, equipment, and materials) and adjust schedules as needed to meet operational requirements.
- Inquire with Material Planning on component shortages.
- Respond to production plan inquiries from internal and external sources.
- Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Track progress and resolve conflicts in scheduling to minimize delays and optimize workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, changes, and related documentation in the system.
- Support IBP processes.
- Assist in workorder management with Discrete.
- Support reporting and analysis of scheduling metrics to identify trends and improve efficiency.
- Act as backup to Master Scheduler.
- Develop and maintain the flexibility to cope with abrupt changes in schedule requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Do You Need?
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or coursework in business/operations preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in scheduling, planning or administrative coordination roles; manufacturing environment preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for working with internal and external customers.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Excel and Outlook), proficiency in scheduling tools and ability to learn ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; attention to detail.
- Demonstrated self-initiative and work with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills in working with a variety of cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.

- Compensation- Pay will be based on your experience and skills. Pay range would be $54,000 - $82,000.
