Truck Driver, 3rd Shift - The Toro Company

Toro Tomah is hiring Truck Drivers-CDL

Who are We?

Toro located in Tomah Wisconsin is an outdoor power equipment manufacturer. Product made at this facility is for both residential and commercial use. The Primary departments are assembly, weld, material handling, paint and the supermarket.

As a Truck Driver for us you must have a valid CDL License and Medical card.

3rd Shift (2:00AM - 10:00AM)

Pay $22.68 plus $2.50 shift differential for a total of $25.18

What Will You Do?

Duties will involve a variety of functions including driving a yard truck, daily maintaining the vehicle, DMV/OSHA certification, safety, housekeeping, timely &efficient movement of trailers/product from one location to another to assure full support of the Distribution Center and Manufacturing plant.

• Receives verbal or written orders to move trailers from one location to another location.

• Responsible for gaining a working knowledge of the proper procedures for moving trailers for each location (DC and Plant).

• Must operate the yard truck in a safe manner & is responsible for damage caused by the operation of the truck.

• Must continually work & conduct self in a manner that will assure safe working conditions throughout the plants, property and public roads.

• Responsible for proper care, cleanliness & maintenance of the assigned equipment.

• Perform daily DOT inspections and maintain work logs as required.

• Maintain an accurate yard check.

• Responsible for reporting proper & improper operation ofyard trucks.

• Responsible for the timely & accurate movement of all trailers to maintain all of the functions of the Tomah facilities.

• Able to move in and out of the vehicle, open and close trailer doors, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

• Maintain an orderly yard and ensure the correct trailers are in the correct locations.

• Must be able to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.

• Other duties as assigned.

What Do You Need?

• High School diploma or equivalency preferred. 

• Must possess a valid commercial driver license and medical card.

• Must be able to obtain a forklift license.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
