Employee Resource Groups

Women’s Initiative Network/TTC WIN
We are a collective of women, those who identify as women, and allies from all businesses and locations of The Toro Company (TTC). Our goal is to form a community where we create and promote a supportive and productive environment for women across all businesses and functions.
Our Focus:
Support Current Employees
- Enhance skills, knowledge and confidence and provide mentorship to further careers
- Share experiences, facilitate discussions to address areas of concern in the workplace and support each other
- Remove stereotypes/unconscious bias, provide information and education
Recruitment & Reputation
- Stimulate and encourage recruitment and promotion of women in TTC leadership roles
- Build reputation as a gender equal and ultimately gender-balanced employer in our industries and local communities

- Improve the standing of groups of women in the communities that matter to us through networking, making connections and supporting women as they work to advance their livelihood

Leading Emerging & Advancing Professionals (LEAP)
LEAP is dedicated to the personal and professional growth of early-in-career employees and their advocates seeking leadership and mentorship opportunities.
Our Focus:
Establishing a community of early-in-career TTC employees and advocates with the goal to grow and develop employees across all functions in the organization to:
- Offer mentorship opportunities to build relationships and leadership skills along with early-in-career guidance
- Provide professional development opportunities to better understand and incorporate strengths, feedback, and crucial conversations
- Encourage personal growth through opportunities to improve soft-skills, work-life balance, and personal discovery
Connect personal development with TTC goals by:
- Building and promoting a broader understanding of TTC’s mission & values
- Encourage career exploration and exposure
- Provide courses and trainings to encourage personal and professional development
- Inspire individuals through community development and philanthropic engagement opportunities
Our Four Pillars of DEI
Workforce
Focused on goals of increasing representation of all dimensions of difference within TTC. We are committed to increasing the number of women and racial and ethnic minorities in leadership positions by at least 20% by fiscal 2025.
Workplace
Offering experiences and resources that promote inclusiveness and recognize diversity amongst our employees. These include employee resource groups (ERGs), DEI awareness courses and educational materials provided through our learning platforms.
Community
Providing ways for employees to be involved in volunteerism or giving around special heritage and awareness days. The Community pillar also focuses on understanding the communities in which we operate and providing support through engagement and partnerships.

Our Markets pillar will continue to have a broad focus extending from the diversity of our suppliers to how we partner and present ourselves in our different markets.

a network of leaders and institutions that convenes, collaborates and champions solutions.
Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUCC)
Investing in academic and professional development opportunities for Black engineering students to help shape a diverse workforce in the field of STEM.
