Responsibilities

Performs basic inspection, trimming and cutting of molded products according to    product specifications, utilizing the applicable aforementioned production peripherals.  Ability to operate secondary operations I.e.; Parts groover, heat staking.  Assist in new operator training.  Assist with Lead operator duties such as label making, scanning, coordinating job assignments, audit in process inspections, 5S and scrap levels. Maintains consistent production output standards following all safety guidelines   work procedures and quality documentation. Help relieve or assist other operators as requested by lead or supervisor. Adheres to Company and Safety policies and procedures. Properly communicate with incoming shift operators any defects or quality alerts. Maintains work area free and clear or hazards at all times. Report machine malfunction, oil on the floor or quality defects to proper personnel. Performs housekeeping functions before and after the start of each rotation, to include, but not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning as required. Rework, disassemble and re-package production units. Performs other duties as assigned or are not included here but are within the context of duties defined.

Previous hands on molding machine operator experience. Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral format. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with Managers, Supervisors and fellow employees.
